Painted Miniature Gallery – 3D Printed Medieval Models by Collectors | Northern Crusades Miniatures

Gallery – Printed & Painted by the Community

This gallery showcases what Northern Crusades Miniatures look like when they come to life in the hands of talented painters and collectors from around the world. Every model here started as a digital STL file and has been 3D printed — mostly on resin printers — and painted to tabletop or display standard by members of our community.

The range covers some of the most visually compelling conflicts of the medieval period: the Northern Crusades waged by Teutonic Knights and the Livonian Order across the Baltic, the great clash between crusading forces and the warriors of Kievan Rus at the Battle of Lake Peipus in 1242, Viking Age raiders and huscarls, Mongol horse archers of the eastern steppe, Byzantine Varangian Guards, and the full spectrum of mounted and dismounted medieval knights from across Europe.

All models are designed for 28mm and 32mm scale and optimised for home resin 3D printing. The detail you see here — the chainmail, the facial expressions, the dynamic combat poses — is all achievable on a standard resin printer at home.
